Over the past year we have blogged about
The germ of World Storytelling Day originated in Sweden, with an event called “Alla berattares dag” (All Storytellers’ Day), which took place on March 20, 1991. The idea of honoring oral storytelling with a special day caught on over time, spreading to other Scandinavian countries as well as to Australia, North and South America.
