I’m glad you posted this, too, Sally. Daisaku Ikeda has many more picture books than the ones listed on that website. But those are the only ones translated into English. Hopefully, as more English-speakers become aware of him, that will change and an English-language publisher will pick up his other titles.

Oh, thank you for putting that link in there, Sally – I thought I recognised the book cover when I looked at the website but the name didn’t click with me… I’m glad you flagged it up. And reading your post again properly (as opposed in the midst of holiday mayhem), I’m sure it is a book we would all love in our family.
