I am always looking for meaningful and engaging material for my class. It is definitely one that I would like to purchase. I didn't get a sense for how long the book is, however. I have been looking for books along the same lines (and length) of "Ryan and Jimmy and the Well In Africa That Brought Them Tother" (Herb Shoveller). It was a perfect read for students who needed pictures to go along with an in-depth and exciting story. If anyone knows of more material that matches this description, I would be so grateful!

I don't know them - yet: I definitely must look them out.

Appropriately for Earth Day, last night we watched the documentary film "Garbage Warrior" about the architect Michael Reynolds and his vision and struggle towards sustainable housing - definitely worth seeing (it's a Cerificate 15 in the UK).
