Children’s literature in Iran?

Head on over to author Mitali Perkins’ blog Mitali’s Fire Escape and read her just posted interview with Ali Seidabadi. Ali lives in Tehran and “is the editor of the only Iranian journal that deals specifically with children’s literature: Research Quarterly for Children’s and Young Adult Literature. He has written more than 30 books for children and young adults, some of which have won non-governmental recognized awards in Iran and have been translated into other languages”.
