Do you know, Heather, I have literally just discovered Tu (and wonder where I've been not to have heard about their appeal before about an hour ago!) and have just left a comment on their post about the term multicultural - it is indeed great news and thank you for highlighting it.

One piece of good news - a new independent publishing company, Tu Publishing (featuring/publishing multicultural SFF specifically), just barely got the funding they needed and they are slated to open for submission Jan 1 2010! Happy coincidence, right? I can't wait to see what they produce
