About Our Blog
The PaperTigers blog expands the website’s Pacific Rim and South Asia focus to include all multicultural books for children and young adults. We’re starting small, and we’re not sure where we’ll end up going, but isn’t that how most creative work begins? Your comments and views on topics from the blog posts as well as the website’s bimonthly updates will help determine our direction. We are counting on you!
The team blog includes the following main posting categories and bloggers, with guest bloggers chiming in from time to time as well:
1. Conversations & Editorials: Aline Pereira contributes editorials related to the website, plus kidlit snippets, thoughts and musings from San Francisco. Charlotte Richardson posts opinions and reflections weekly from just a few blocks away. Responses and changes of subject are welcome.
2. Books at Bedtime: Marjorie Coughlan shares her thoughts and findings from her busy post in Yorkshire, UK and welcomes your comments and stories.
3. Eventful World: Vancouver B.C.’s Corinne Robson will keep us informed about children’s literature events of interest around the world, with new posts every other week.
4. The Tiger’s Bookshelf: Janet Brown in Seattle, Washington presents a title each month, with accompanying questions, for an online, all-ages book group, and hosts a weekly ongoing conversation that focuses on books and the readers who love them.
