Exploring Countries Series is a part of BLASTOFF! READERS which are books developed by literacy experts and containing "standard based content and developmentally appropriate text". These books are "level 5 book(s) that encourages children to move from learning to read to reading to learn."

The books includes maps, pictures of people living in the various countries and shows what daily life is like. It shows religion, work, play, celebrations, native animals and landmarks.

The books contain a fun facts, glossary and index at the back. These books would be a great resource for children in grades 5-7 to do class projects onvarious countries, their economy, their people and how they live every day.
