- Our Voices Together brings together many organisations whose beginnings can be traced back to the calamitous events of 9/11. The lives of all the remarkable people involved have been touched by terrorism in some way and they are now all devoted to channelling their energy to counter the effects of terrorism all over the world.
- Our Voices Together provides a forum for all these not-for-profit organisations within a single website, thereby unifying their resounding, "No!" against terrororism. The network includes such organisations as Help the Afghan Children and Save the Children.
- The Action Center resources are divided into three sections: Learn, Act, Share.
- The Learn section provides resources catalogued by Grade Level,Type (Books, DVD & Video, Poetry etc.), and Subject (including Interfaith, Terrorism & 9/11 and Tolerance). The online bookstore lists books for all age-groups on all these topics and more.
- There is a very powerful side-bar, which confronts stereotypes and makes a clear statement of what terrorism is and is not - a valuable springboard for discussion.
- "What can I do?" is sometimes a valid question when one is confronted with such an enormous issue: a poster seeks to provide a manageable starting block for those seeking an answer.
