It was PaperTigers' first introduction to the British children's book world, and it is still the first place to check out for news and witty comments. In the past few months, the coverage has extended beyond the UK borders, and now there are correspondents from different parts of the world.

• News, tells you absolutely everything that's going on in the UK children's books world, from book launches to behind-the-scenes events. This section also offers some coverage of events in other countries;
• Profiles is the 'who's who' of children's books authors published in the UK, with biographical information, bibliographies, and comprehensive lists of where and when authors were featured in different media (this section is password protected);
• Interviews with authors, are particularly interesting because the interviewer (also the founder, writer, editor, designer, webmaster, and factotum of the website) has not only read every young readers' book in circulation, but also often notices references in the plots or characters that haven't occurred to the authors!
