An illustrators' exhibit where the artwork is selected by an international jury and whose goal is to promote illustrators and their work among publishers.

• Published and unpublished illustrators from all over the world are invited to submit five original fiction OR nonfiction illustrations; the chosen artworks are showcased during the yearly International Children's Book Fair, published in the Fiction and Nonfiction Annuals, and participate to travelling exhibitions in Japan and the United States;
• Watch out for the deadline, usually at the end of November - more information, entry form and labels are available on the exhibition's website;
• The international jury is appointed each year by the Bologna Book Fair organizers, and is composed of 5 well-known professionals in the field of children's books - from illustrators, to publishers, to professors;
• If you can attend the Book Fair, make sure you don't miss the Illustrators' Café, where you can meet publishers and hear the reasons behind the jury's choices.
