- Resource Links reviews and evaluates resources published in English and French.
- Materials reviewed include picture books, fiction and non-fiction (organized according to grades), plus many professional and audio-visual resources.
- Reviews are written by educators and librarians, and include thematic links and a rating system that are very useful.
- Reviews are down-to-earth, personal views from professionals working with Canadian youth in the field of education. This makes them uneven in terms of writing style and level of articulation but doesn't affect their value and usefulness in any way.
- Resource Links is also present online, featuring information on writers and awards; an index of authors; archive of featured articles; and information on how to subscribe or, if you are an educator or librarian who works with children and young adults, submit your own review of a resource.
