NAME is an organization in the United States that brings together individuals and groups with an interest in multicultural education, with the objective of advocating it as the foundation philosophy of the educational system.

• NAME hosts national and international conferences and provide leadership in national and state dialogues on equity, diversity and multicultural education.

• Continuing debate about the goals and definitions of "multicultural education" is encouraged.
• NAME is a volunteer organization with chapters in most states and members from throughout the United States and other countries.
