Taiwanese artist Yung-Yen studied at the Taipei National University of the Arts, where she majored in sculpture.
Her colorful and charming artwork for children's books has won her several awards, and she has published three books, Super Brother, The Earthquake Kingdom, and The Little Cans. Her favorite techniques are acrylic, collage and mixed media.
