Yukari was born in Japan, where she studied at the Japan Design College. She has published two books, The Shoemaker and the Elves, and Special Soup in the Autumn Forest, and a calendar, Dreams of Mimi and Cooky. Yukari lives in Tokyo, where she works as illustrator. Her favorite technique is acrylic, and she likes to draw happy people and delicious food.
