Children's book illustrations of Water
View Gallery

In this Gallery Feature, we have drawn together images from previous Galleries that highlight our current theme of Water in Multicultural Children's Books. We showcase the illustrations from different cultures around the world by eight different artists: Suzy Lee, David Diaz, Elisa Kleven, Jeanette Winter, Eugenie Fernandes, Don Petersen, E.B. Lewis, and Eun-hee Choung.

These images represent some of the diverse situations in which we, and especially children, use or interact with water. By bringing this collection of images together, we hope it will stimulate awareness of the importance of water and how maybe sometimes we take it for granted - as well as reminding us of the sheer joy that children can experience around water. Enjoy!
