Saelee Oh is a Korean-American artist who lives in Los Angeles, California,
where she works as an artist and children's art teacher.

Inspired by folk art, trees and flowers, textiles and old children's books, Saelee explores visual storytelling and animal imagery as symbols and metaphors. Her work includes a variety of mediums in various combinations, including acrylic paint, watercolor, paper cutouts (hand cut with an exacto blade) and dried leaves and flowers. Recently, she has expanded into working on animations and sculptures.

Saelee graduated with honors from Art Center College of Design (2003). Her
exhibitions include New Image Art (L.A.), Giant Robot (L.A.), Motel Gallery
(Portland), Cinders (Brooklyn, NY), Hanna (Tokyo, Japan) and others.

Her various illustration clients and publications include, Time Magazine,
New York Magazine, BabyTalk, Monster.com, Budget Living, Bust, American Illustration 22 & 23, and Communication Arts.
