Penny Weber's artwork
View Gallery

This feature has been put together as part of our June/July 2010 special focus on "How Children Play Around the World." It showcases images of children at play by eight different artists: Penny Weber, E.B. Lewis, Lulu Delacre, Ida Pearle, Alissa Imre Geis, Margaret Chodos-Irvine, Susan Winter and Tim Vyner.

As you look at the images of children being children, and doing what they do best, you'll probably find yourself nodding in recognition of the joy and exuberance they portray. You'll probably also notice that there is something universal about the way children play, whoever and wherever they are...

We hope you'll enjoy this feature!
